In an era where time seems to slip through our fingers, two dancers find themselves suspended in an exiling dimension. The platforms they move on are slide boards—tools that cause their bodies to sway, simulating speed skating: at times they seem to advance, to chase one another, but without ever quite succeeding. 

Every glide, every movement is a direction without destination, an endless oscillation. The awareness that the present is the only place where we can truly exist is the most elusive illusion: a constructed time that may be nothing more than a hazy fade between a footprint of the past and a propulsive future.

Electro-pop sounds dominate the scene, with rapid, pressing beats interwoven in a DJ set, marking the rhythm of the performance like a relentless pulse. 

Sound merges with movement, emphasizing a hypnotic metronome that underlines a cyclical score—just like the continuous motion back and forth on the slide boards.

In this eternal movement, the two performers find themselves at the heart of a time that is never the same—a resistance to an uncertain future that slips away from us.

"Everybody Has a Fate" invites us to reflect on the nature of time, the meaning of the present, and the hope for a future that—though uncertain—demands to be reached.
